I traveled to Vancouver to take in the final match of the Women's World Cup. It was a classic rematch of the 2011 finals: Japan vs. USA. Monday, July 14, 2014. WorldCupUSA - World Cup Final in San Francisco, CA. The Civic Center was the epicenter of World Cup fever in San Francisco on Sunday. Thousands of Argentina fans, Germany fans, and soccer fans. Came to witness the finale to greatest sporting event on the planet. Soccer was everywhere in the Civic Center. As were the crowds. The whole square was packed with spectators watching the game on the large screens. Some fans were really excited to show off their colors, even to themselves.

In the dried out sands right before the rainy season there are the tracks of wildlife. Sometimes saying hello to each other. Barra de Potosi is a fishing village located about 20 miles south of Zihuatanajeo, Mexico. The fisherman head out to sea. And also into the lagoon nearby to cast their nets.

Work in progress. Asta sunt. Ciorbă din ciuperci pleurotus (ciorbă falsă ‘de burtă’). July 5, 2015. Nici pe vremea când mâncam carne nu am putut trece peste denumirea acestei ciorbe, cât să o gust. Dar varianta făcută din ciuperci este gustoasă și ușor de făcut, iar cei care au termen de comparație carnivor, spun că ciupercile au exact gustul ăla, doar că mai sănătoase (pentru stomac și cap ). 500 g – 1 kg de ciuperci pleurotus, tăiate fâșii subțiri. 5 căței de usturoi. 1 ardei gras roșu.
