We ran to town to the local Wal-mart to pick up some supplies. As we walked through the parking lot.well.the picture really speaks for itself! It made us smile and laugh!

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. What's in my Cart? I am home here in North Carolina for another snow day! On the one hand I get to work on my blog and my TpT products, but on the other hand it really messes up my structured schedule and plans in my classroom. Do you ever feel torn like that? Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Back to School Ideas. It's almost time for school to start here in North Carolina. I know some school systems across the country have already started while others still have a ways to go. For me, I have 3 weeks of summer left before I head back to school to start working on my classroom. My first principal's name was Ms. Mack and she must of thought I was crazy! I didn't forget. I put it on my desk. I walked away and I taught. She was great! So here are my back to school tips!

Sunday, September 14, 2014. Fire Safety Week in October. I am happy to introduce my Fire Safety Pack! Saturday, August 1, 2015. Listening to The Strain. I actually have been binge watching the show. I say listening because I am on my computer at the same time. It's a great show if you haven't watched it! Today was my youngest child's 18th birthday! He wanted to go to Olive Garden for his favorite food.spaghetti! Monday, July 13, 2015. Who went to Vegas? This was my first trip ever! I can't believe how much we packed in in only a few short days. I came home very tired, but full of memories, ideas, and a desire to do it all over again. I traveled with two fellow North Carolina teachers: Kayla from K's Classroom Kreations. And Theresa from Theresa's Teaching Tidbits. Here are some highlights of our trip! Here we are on the plane leaving Charlotte, NC. Meeting friends and checking in! I wish I could have met everyone.

Monday, March 30, 2015. I found the cutest idea from Brittany from Tickled Pink in Primary. She posted her adorable bulletin board idea on facebook which is now also shared on her blog. I just had to have my kids create these cute little Easter Egg Bunnies! They were a lot of fun to create and the kids loved the results! Thank you Brittany for sharing an adorable idea! I'm not just a teacher! While I was home, my mother and I went through her quilts. She has many. I love this owl one so we decided to take some photos to show off her work. I love owls! I have taught my students about owls and they are fascinating birds. The creativity doesn't end there! While at my sister's house I snapped this photo in her guest bathroom.
