The challenge I set myself with this quilt for the new wing of the Rest home, was to incorporate images that stimulate memory and represent our local area. Thus came about the old advertising logos, some of them local, and the road signs with South Waikato place names on them. Some of the residents gave me ideas for logos that they remembered from way back.
