Palai Eboulethen: March 2014
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Thursday, March 20, 2014. My husband came home at lunchtime yesterday. It seems that the company laid off roughly 25 people, all across the departments, etc. OK. I just wish I knew where to. I guess that remains to be seen. I am not really "worried" so much as uncertain and curious about where we will be going. And even excited. (I hope I like it.). More random photo fun. Car window (from inside the car) a few months ago. Frost! Don't feel like it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Palai Eboulethen: April 2013
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. I have no news other than to say I have mellowed a bit since this morning. Things are what they are. I am still not happy, but I am no longer frothing at the mouth. We have the money to pay the tax bill AND go on a smaller vacation. I am going to look into having mom watch the girls in a few weeks and get away with DH. For a whole family thing we'll wait a few months; after Labor Day maybe. Then again, maybe not. Well, after a post about how excited I am to...

Palai Eboulethen: June 2013
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Sunday, June 30, 2013. My tea cups car large, 2 cup capacity. The sample of Earl Grey I bought only has one cup's worth left, so today we move on to a new sample. Peach Oolong. This isn't my first lighter tea, but I am glad the samples have directions on how long to steep. With Lipton I often just relied on color. I am not adding sugar, lesson learned from the Earl Grey. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Tea: Earl Grey, Hot. I dallied around online, ebay mostly, to find an interesting cup...

Palai Eboulethen: Resolution 1 down
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2015/01/resolution-1-down.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. So much for posting to my blog every day. If one of the resolutions is going to be scrapped, this one is better than the exercise and healthy eating. AND (this is big for me) missing one day doesn't mean I have to quit. I might back off some if all I have to post is talking about the weather. Don't get me wrong, the occasional "It was lovely today." or "Brrr, I hate the cold! Daily walking report - Still going on day 6. Tried that, got bored). For your vi...

Palai Eboulethen: 2015 (part B) Resolutions
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2015/07/2015-part-b-resolutions.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Thursday, July 9, 2015. 2015 (part B) Resolutions. The healthy eating and exercise vary. Starting over for the second half of this year. Well, things didn't get so bad as to say I am "starting over," but close. There were a couple of months of illness and family emergencies, etc, that got in the way. But right now the future looks clear, and I want to live it moving, not sitting in one place. I figured I'd do a mile and then go. I got to .8 miles when a bike became availab...Subsc...

Palai Eboulethen: Darn!
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2015/01/darn.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Friday, January 2, 2015. Well, not really, but that is the only sock related pun I could think of in short notice. I am not darning socks, I am knitting them. This isn't my first try to knit socks, just the first one that has not yet been abandoned in frustration. We'll see how this goes. In honor of my 42 things I want to do while I am 42, I have picked back up the double-pointed needles and will give this crazy idea another try. What have I learned so far? WIL WHEATON dot NET.

Palai Eboulethen: Colder today
http://palaieboulethen.blogspot.com/2015/01/colder-today.html
Long Ago I made a Wish. Sunday, January 4, 2015. I did not want to walk in the park today. I went around the block behind our house instead. It wasn't as far as I had thought and I am slightly disappointed. I am not sure in what though. Myself for not walking farther? The block for not being bigger? The weather for being cold? Yeah, I have the feeling that is it. Maybe I should make all of my New Years Resolutions for the Springtime. Looks warm, eh? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). WIL WHEATON dot NET.

Confessions of a Small Town Pastor: Patience Required
http://pastoralconfessions.blogspot.com/2009/05/patience-required.html
Confessions of a Small Town Pastor. The greatest truths are lived in the smallest details. Saturday, May 09, 2009. Of all the fruit of the Spirit, I think the one that I struggle the most to cultivate is patience. Others who observe me might not think this so, given that I can be perceived as quiet and easy-going. But talk to my wife and she will relate a different story! People who live with you inevitably know you better than people who are only—sometimes at best—acquainted with you. Fruit of the Spirit.

Montessori at Home: Bad Girl
http://moosehuntress.blogspot.com/2006/07/bad-girl-can-any-parent-claim-to-have.html
A pictoral and written log of a Homeschooling Mother using the Montessori Method. Thursday, July 27, 2006. Can any parent claim to have the perfect child? Can any parent claim to be perfect? And "cu-urd" (coloured) upon it as well: on the bottom right of the mustard-coloured cover, and on two of the interior "onionskin" pages. And "Paper is for colouring! Are frequently heard in our home, unfortunately we have never yet added the addendum "But not paper in books! In the large side pockets. With appro...
