Thursday, July 3, 2008. Our lesson in English is about knowing oneself. During the start of the lesson, I came to know that many are experiencing "identity crisis" especially teenagers. They don't really know themselves; what their weaknesses and strengths are; what they want to become and what they want to achieve in life. Sunday, September 28, 2008. On the third week of this month, we didn't meet for English subject two times because of the Am-among Festival. The festival was a bit fun. but quite disappointing (at least for me). I have listed below the bad and good points about it based on my observations:. 1 The municipal plaza is too small to accommodate the people who wanted to watch the presentations. 2 There was no shade above the presentation area. 4 It also united the people and promoted peace.

Thursday, July 3, 2008. School days are here again! It's time for me to stop being lazy. There's a new world waiting for me; new lessons, new teachers and friends, more experiences. I've been attending school for a month and I find it interesting and boring (or should I say a little of both? In the afternoon, I always feel sleepy but in the morning, I feel the opposite. Needless to say, I'm having fun as time goes by. I am looking forward to accepting new challenges this school year.

Monday, August 4, 2008. Long time no post. Aside from reading the column about mothers, we also learned the meanings of some Latin/Greek affixes and root words. I can still remember "therme" which means heat and "geo " which means earth. So if you put these words together, the result will be geothermal which means, heat produced by the earth.
