Update: Sunday: summer is coming
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/sunday-summer-is-coming.html
Sunday, May 3, 2015. Sunday: summer is coming. Summer is coming. And while that means there are suddenly a ton more things we can do, it also means the end of day care and more "Do you want to play with me? I like to play with Isaac, but.sometimes the same things over and over aren't so fun. Are there any more things that you can think of? Feed ducks by Carter's. Get a movie from the library. Eat with popcorn. Bouncy balls under deck or downstairs bathroom-with hat. Move furniture around and run. Dressin...

Update: Friday: pictures
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/08/friday-pictures.html
Friday, August 7, 2015. Flurry has found a new favorite spot in Joshua's chair. It was a "dad day." Joshua really only wanted Ben if he was around. I just wasn't cutting it. A friend got Joshua a "Little Brother" t-shirt that is really cute, so that meant we should take some pictures, right? Isaac and me. Joshua is photobombing. Rest time. We've been reading Richard Scary's "What do people do? The fun activity was water balloons. Popping it with his hands. I love the brother shirts! The Posts in PNG.

Update: Thursday: dumb monsters
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/thursday-dumb-monsters.html
Thursday, May 14, 2015. So this morning there was apparently a monster in the house that made Isaac afraid to leave the room I was in. I told him Jesus would go with him in scary situations, which lead to a semi-theological discussion about how Jesus is going home but Chico the monkey would help him. I tried really hard to have Jesus help him too, but to no avail. I thought it was a nice smile.well, I think he was at least trying.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Posts in PNG. Update: Saturday: 10000 steps
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/saturday-10000-steps.html
Saturday, May 2, 2015. I finally hit 10000 steps today.I apparently need to be way more active than I normally am. It started with a race! Isaac (and I) ran the kids' fun run around a park, about 1k. I wasn't sure how it would go. We practiced a little bit, but not really all that much. They split the race into 5 and under and 6 and older, which made the starting rather nice. It sounded as though it was crazy last year. At the end he got a medal! May 3, 2015 at 7:06 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Update: Friday: catch -up
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/friday-catch-up.html
Friday, May 8, 2015. First up, we have a wiggle dance. Isaac asked me to take the video, which is rather rare. We went downtown with some friends again this morning. Joshua was rather grumpy so I put him in the carrier and Isaac got the rare treat of riding in the stroller. First they played on the bleachers. Then we went to a park. Later Joshua showed us that he could move himself backwards. He's never done it before, and the floors probably helped, so it was fun to see. He ran into the couch. Joe W, Ju...

Update: Monday: 41 weeks and first day of summer
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/monday-41-weeks-and-first-day-of-summer.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. Monday: 41 weeks and first day of summer. Joshua turned 41 weeks today. He's been in a better mood the last few days. Today also started the beginning of our summer activities. This morning Isaac drew two items, one from each jar. (Ok, he drew three. One we couldn't do today because it was rainy.). Joshua found the activity hilarious! Don't you just love the sound of his laugh? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Posts in PNG. Feet For the Path. Bits and pieces of life. Dave and...

A Dairy Perspective: We Are Moving
http://dairyperspective.blogspot.com/2011/01/we-are-moving.html
Monday, January 24, 2011. Well, digitally that is. We are moving our blogging activities to The Goings-On. We decided to start a new one to better reflect ourselves now. It has only taken a month and a half to come up with a name we could agree on. :-) I still have to add some pictures and links for customization. We'll keep this one up for the archives, but all new posting will happen there. See you there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. You Suck at Craigslist.

Update: Saturday: pomegranates
http://ahilldore.blogspot.com/2015/05/saturday-pomegranates.html
Saturday, May 16, 2015. We recently learned a good way to get arils out of pomegranates thanks to Alton Brown of Good Eats. It was simple enough, so I though we would try them. It's an odd thing.you bite down and get a squirt of juice and then have the sac left.it is kind of like when a kernel of popcorn hasn't quite popped all the way. However, Isaac loves them! Probably because they're juicy. They were an instant hit. Today he had to put all the shoes in the shoe closet. The Posts in PNG. Today we drew...
