A sacrifice of one hour sometime between the hours of 6:00 pm Thursday, 8/5 and 6:00 pm Friday, 8/6. A 24 hour fast during that same time period of something sacrificial, (TV, food, electronics, etc.). What is the purpose? I hear this one several times a year. I honestly didn't know there was an actual "look" for diabetics! All my stats come from the American Diabetes Association's Website- - www.diabetes.org. When I began to take my faith seriously going into my sophomore year in high school, I still felt intimidated by this book we call the Bible. I figured it was enough if I paid attention to others who knew it better, instead of reading it for myself. I would let them pass down the knowledge of this text since they had training and all. I also felt a calling to teach them about God's Word.

Someone checks their blood sugar, it pops up a perfect number. Obviously, this is marketing genius! Every person with diabetes needs this monitor because apparently, it fixes your blood sugars for you! Living with diabetes is full of ups and downs (literally!
