My first half marathon: Is this the end of summer?
http://zoecakeshalfmarathon.blogspot.com/2009/09/is-this-end-of-summer.html
My first half marathon. My training blog for the 2009 Royal Parks Half Marathon. Friday, 4 September 2009. Is this the end of summer? It hasn't really been a good week for training this week. And I had a good chat with an old neighbour on the way round. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brought up in the West Country, but now living in the Big Smoke. I work to live and run to bake and eat cakes. View my complete profile. My half-marathon fundraising page. Is this the end of summer?

My first half marathon: August 2009
http://zoecakeshalfmarathon.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
My first half marathon. My training blog for the 2009 Royal Parks Half Marathon. Friday, 28 August 2009. Running in a new world. We went to Norfolk last weekend, did a bit of walking, some seal watching, lots of geocaching, too much eating and running in accordance with my half-marathon schedule (which unfortunately didn't counter-balance the eating thing! We'd done almost 6 miles, the light was starting to fade and then Mr W announced that it was still another 3 miles back to the hotel! Fortunately the ...

My first half marathon. My training blog for the 2009 Royal Parks Half Marathon. Monday, 21 September 2009. After much moaning to my doc about how I couldn't possibly miss 3 weeks of my half-marathon training he agreed to give me some different tablets for a couple of weeks that would get into my system quicker and subsequently allow me to start running again quicker - hurrah! My first half marathon. My training blog for the 2009 Royal Parks Half Marathon. Wednesday, 2 September 2009. I do like to be beside the seaside. What better idea for an August Bank Holiday weekend, than to visit the seaside along with the scores of other urbanites looking for a bit of fun in the sand? For evidence of the wondrous array of cakes on offer during this latest visit). Labels: Bank Holiday weather. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. October parkruns | After Thomas
https://afterthomas.wordpress.com/2013/11/08/october-parkruns
Looking to the future after the loss of my beautiful baby boy. We had grand plans for parkrunning in October with inaugurals to attend at Southsea. On the 5th, 19th and 26th, respectively and a trip to Basingstoke. To introduce some more friends to parkrun on the 12th. Unfortunately however, my health had other ideas and we were only able to make it to Southsea and Basingstoke. The inaugural Southsea parkrun. It sounds like it was a great event, especially as it was flat – my favourite type of run! IR...

Tonbridge parkrun | After Thomas
https://afterthomas.wordpress.com/2013/11/14/tonbridge-parkrun
Looking to the future after the loss of my beautiful baby boy. Last week I received a surprise card from some of the parkrun tourists that we have met on our travels in the last couple of months. It was very touching and so we decided that if I was well enough it would be nice to surprise them by turning up at the inaugural Tonbridge parkrun. On saturday, especially being as the lovely Louise. Was due to be running her 100th different event there, i.e. completing her full ‘Cowell’. It's good to talk.

Southsea parkrun | After Thomas

Looking to the future after the loss of my beautiful baby boy. Mention a seaside parkrun and my common sense seems to go out the window, which is why when we heard that the inaugural Southsea parkrun. Was being held on 5 October I decided we needed to be there. Maintaining a modicum of sense we did organise to drive down the evening before and stay in a hotel close to the start rather than getting up at silly o’clock to drive down though. I’m not sure how many he got in total! 8211; really impressive!
