Zoë in Palestine | stories, photos, and thoughts from the West Bank.
Stories, photos, and thoughts from the West Bank. What Can We Do? February 14, 2015. I’ve been home from Israel and Palestine for about a month now. Since getting back I’ve done a lot sleeping, caught up with friends and family, ate some indian food, watched too much Netflix, and I’ve taken Freya for lots of walks. I’ve also spent a lot of time processing my time away. What did I learn? What was my impact? What can I do here in Canada? How do I keep walking in solidarity from thousands of miles away?

Gone Troppo!
The adventures of moving across the country to become a subtropical fruit farmer. Tuesday, 11 August 2015. I've made a new friend - the closest thing to a pet that Josh'll let me have. His name is Kooky Booky, and he's a local kookaburra. We've seen him around all the time for weeks, but for the past few days he's come to visit right up close to the house, on a madly pruned feijoa tree. He's loving the bare branches (great for perching) and freshly toiled dirt (perfect for worm hunting). Todays adventure...

First, i’d like to apologise for my lack of blogging- it’s not PURELY due to laziness (although that is a factor) but also due to how busy the last weeks have been! I have so much to mention but I will try to keep this as short and sweet and possible. The hard work of staff and of course the amazing children paid off massively. The second excursion...

Zoe Inspirational
The Power of the Mind. Asymp; 2 Comments. When thinking about life, it is easy to become conditioned to the typical analogies that many attribute to it. Life is like an amusement park or my favourite, a road full of speed bumps, yet these ways of thinking fill me with a sense of discouragement for what the future holds. Looking back at my own life I can’t count the amount of speed bumps I’ve collided into and although these bumps certainly left dents, I have decided to never let life get the better of me.
