Notes in the Margin. Back in London, looking out into my sunny back garden and listening to music from Sierra Leone that’s been stuck in my head for two days –. I look over my notes in the margins from all the meetings this trip, from gaudy government offices to sitting under the coconut trees by a dry stream now filled with rubbish. Beautiful colors: house with a tile collage wall. You might run into the Smurfs! Not many wild animals, but there are Zebra cars! Even down town has interesting art work. A sculpture to welcome you to the beach (can you spot the lizard? Plenty of coconuts on the beach to drink! Médérik and me enjoying a sunny afternoon. Evening swimmers at the end of the day. Big waves crashed onto the shore, even reaching up over the steep bank built of red rock and concrete. The water came up onto the road and sprayed passing cars with salt and plastic debris.
