A bus was loading up, "is this my bus? Day many years in the future, I would be able to look back at this experience and laugh! I was back at the bus station by 8am the following day to catch the bus down to Paske. The bus was scheduled to take between 8 and 12 hours but it hardly ever takes any longer than that! I love Laos public transport!

There was nothing to note about the journey other than for the first time I was in a bus completely full of westerners – not a local to be seen. The journey continues . Friday, August 30, 2013. I did however have a desire to taste some of the local food. There were also demonstrations of Hoi An culture and I was able to walk around an embroidery school and watch a chap carve figures out of bamboo root.
