Man On Fire: May 2008
http://homemnofogo.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
So, I haven't blogged in a few months. Unlike some other people, I can't seem to keep going at it. Anyway, the reason for this blog is that I've come up with a Flight Memory site for myself. It's at http:/ my.flightmemory.com/kpanahon. Yeah, it's not much. It's gonna take a while before my flight memory looks like this guy's: http:/ my.flightmemory.com/Seat2A. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Man On Fire: July 2008
http://homemnofogo.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
From ZA to IE. We're relocating from South Africa to Ireland this week! Anna left earlier tonight while I'm leaving in less than 48 hours. I expected myself to be ecstatic about this relocation but to my surprise, I find myself slightly depressed about leaving this place that we've called home for the past two or so years. It's more of a "see you later," rather than a sad goodbye to the friends we've made here. We'll get to see them when we visit and quite a few of them travel to Europe as well. ...Enoug...

Man On Fire: February 2008
http://homemnofogo.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
It's not half past 10 in the evening and I'm coming down with a terrible cold, so excuse me if this post is all over the place. Last Saturday, we had quite a bit of snow here, and Anna and I both had a blast. Lo and behold, as I was arriving in the UK two weeks ago, I was asked to conduct interviews for candidates being considered for a sister department of ours. It was as unexpected as my trip here. Ok, time to go to sleep now. *yawn*. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Man On Fire: October 2007
http://homemnofogo.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Back at the office. I'm back at work after doing pretty much nothing for 4 days. The funny thing is, it's not much different because now I'm running tests on batch processes that take some time to complete. Here's to a few more days of doing nothing. Hehehe. Recovery Mode: Lots of rest and ice cream! The op was done in the morning and I didn't have to stay overnight at the hospital. In fact, Anna brought me there early, as indicated in the pre-admission sheet given to me by the doctor, and I was out ...

Man On Fire: Freezing cold or power cuts
http://homemnofogo.blogspot.com/2008/01/freezing-cold-or-power-cuts.html
Freezing cold or power cuts. It's also odd trying to get used to the shorter days here after coming from SA where there's currently around 14 or 15 hours of sunlight per day. Here, it's more like 9 to 10 hours per day. Anna will be here on Saturday morning and we're both extremely excited for her. What scares me though is she's been doing a lot of research about Belfast and she already knows all the shopping areas and coffee shops even before hopping into the plane!
