Knitspingirl: September 2012
http://knitspingirl.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Saturday, September 15, 2012. Today my lovely friend Miss D and I represented the Lismore Spinners and Weavers in a demonstration and display of all things fibrey. Is that a word? If not, I declare it one now. (In my special little world anyway! The Cape Byron Rudolph Steiner School was having it's annual spring fair and we were invited to go along too. They made us a sign! It was just the two of us, which is all we thought we needed. Wrong! The place was PACKED!

Knitspingirl: January 2015
http://knitspingirl.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Im not using the R word. A new year inevitably leads to thinking of new year's res. Use the "R" word! If I use that word, we all know what happens next. A month or two of being good, and then everything goes to pot. What I would like. And a handspun BSJ that just needs seams and buttons. That seems achievable . I hope? I'd also like to dust off my sewing machine. Maybe make a skirt or two? What are your crafty plans for this year?

Knitspingirl: Sigh ...
http://knitspingirl.blogspot.com/2014/03/sigh.html
All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Monday, March 31, 2014. I'm going through another one of those phases where everything I touch turns to crap. I've knitted and ripped, knitted and ripped, and knitted and ripped. I've spent the last week knitting up some really yummy handspun, and I've really enjoyed knitting with it. I should knit with my handspun more often! April 1, 2014 at 8:53 PM. Oh blah to the blahs- hope things improve for you soon! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Blogger finally wants to play nice again and let me upload piccies. Yay! So here's my finished blanket. It comfortably fits on a single bed (maybe a tad short) and as you can see, is the perfect summer knitting project. Lol! Well, it worked fine until it came time to join them (knitted 3-needle bind-off join) and do the I-cord border All. The way. Around. That's a lot of garter stitch! She knows me so well. (Mwah! Where did my mojo go?

Knitspingirl: February 2014
http://knitspingirl.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Saturday, February 1, 2014. A new year, a new home, a new hobby. I've been resisting this one for a while. I really like knitting. I enjoy spinning because it lets me play with yummy fibres, and results in yarn I can knit with. Weaving? And then someone gave me a loom. A rigid heddle loom to be precise. I sidled round it all last year warily, and then took the plunge. My first attempt at a scarf wasn't toooo. Bad Learning from my mistakes, I tried again.

http://sewithme.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
This blog is for a couple of friends who want to learn to sew. I'm planning to share some instructions tips and hints to get started sewing. And of course some of my own projects and progress. Anyone is welcome to come along for the ride. Friday, February 27, 2009. I finished the lined top yesterday and photographed it this morning- on my manequin which is obviously several sizes smaller than I am. I ironed it yesterday, really, I did! The construction is fine. The lining all sits nicely. It's taken a lo...

Knitspingirl: November 2012
http://knitspingirl.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
All knitting, all spinning, all the time. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Yarn Guerillas vs Garden Guerillas. Monday morning bright and early saw my fellow cohorts and I sneaking into a Guerilla garden and yarnbombing it. We had a ball sneaking around this cute little veggie garden and "adding" our various bits and pieces. Bouncing frog on elastic. We hope they have as much fun finding them as we did yarnbombing them! Tuesday, November 13, 2012. 18 flowers stuck on bamboo skewers wrapped with yarn. Please ...
