Urdu nazm اردو نظم. ہر چند کے آنکھوں نے بہت ساتھ دیا تھا. پلکوں کے دریچوں پہ نیا خواب بسا تھا. دھڑکن کے کچوکے سے مجھے ڈر سا لگا تھا. میں اپنا ہی دل اپنے تیئں رکھ نہیں پائی. گرتے ہوئے قدموں سے سبق میں نے لیا تھا. انجام محبت کا فسانہ بھی پڑھا تھا. پر آج شب بھر رو بہ فلک تاروں کو گنا تھا. میں اپنا ہی دل اپنے تئیں رکھ نہیں پائی. اک خمار رت جگا میری آنکھوں میں بسا ہے. ہر صبح نو پہلو میں میرے درد اٹھا ہے. سانسوں میں سستی سی ہے آنکھوں میں دھواں ہے.
