Sunday, August 21, 2011. We are here in SLC, only 1/2 mile from temple square. We can even see Angel Moroni's little nose from our back door. Being walking distance to just about everything is GREAT! I have officially ended my first year of didactic craziness, and after a week off to move (and relax) I have already completed my first week of my clinical year. I am starting in my surgery rotation and I have already learned so much and the surgeon I follow is great at teaching me. My mom was such a trooper!

Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Cheers to Change- Journal entry for the past 2 years. Okay, so where do I start? First off.I am GRADUATED and am now a PA! My first semester was by far the most difficult. I believe it was 20 credits (and that's graduate level credits). There was one professor I had that hated when students asked questions, which made it even harder on me, because that's how I learn! Friday, November 25, 2011. This is what all of you are missing out on! We went to see the lights at Temple Square tonight and they were as beautiful as ever. It helped us get into the Christmas spirit being able to hear people on horse carriages singing Christmas carols and see an awesome display of Christ's birth with a narration. It's kinda neat to see Temple Square so busy with people speaking so many different languages at this time of year. And to all a good night. Us hot and sweaty.and happy...

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. PA and Polysci school. PA school is so much better this semester than it was last! Maybe it's because now I know everything (yeah. right.) This semester I feel like we are applying our knowledge (at least trying t0) with mock patients and labs. Here is my favorite one so far that I have actually been anxiously awaiting since day one. Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Oakley loved the cake. She liked eating it but she loved that the cake meant it was her birthday. When I was making the cake that morning she kept running around saying, "cake" and "happy birthday oakie." And of course she loved all her presents! I think the party was a success. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. On April 28th (Oakley's Birthday) our best friend/cousin Tyler came down to spend the afternoon with us. He was here for business, so we didn't get to hang out long but it was still fun. May 1st Zach and Jenny came back to buy a new van and hang out a little more. They left and the Skaggs plus Nancy took over the guest room (don't worry I washed the sheets) but only for a night. Our last visitors were Bob and Laurie and they stayed for 10 days!
