Saturday, January 11, 2014. Making Maple Syrup in Southern Maine. When we were kids, we made maple syrup one or two winters - there were some BIG maples at the ol' homestead in East Derry. Thursday's talk helped me understand the things we did right, and what we did wrong. I don't know if it will be this winter, but I'd like to try it again!
