My Five Sons: April 2014
http://shaferandlindsey.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 18, 2014. Happy 9th Birthday Big Boy! Well, I've now been a mom for 9 years. That seems like a lot. But, I'm sure that feeling will only increase with each passing birthday! Since Christmas my boys have gotten into Pokémon, thanks to their friends down the street. It is one of those things that I swore my kids would never get into. I realize now that sometimes you can't help what your kids like, they are influenced by their peers too, not just mom and dad! Pin the tail on Pikachu of course!

She is amazing and I really hope Monkey gets her next year! That night we went to the Bee's game for Shafer's work. It's one of our favorite things every summer to go to the game and get all the free treats! We enjoyed our free dinner on the lawn watching them prep the field:. We also got to be the first to ride the train for the night:. This is ...

Monday, January 20, 2014. Happy New Year 2014! I've loved having this chalkboard wall to write messages on all year. It helps make it feel festive! Here they are engrossed in the movie they picked:. Puppy was loving the glasses and glowsticks, unfortunately the glasses didn't stay on little heads very well, so there was a little sadness mixed in to the celebrations! Here are the boys busting a move during our dance party:. What a great way to ring in a new year! Posted by Lindsey T. Big Boy taught Shafer...

My Five Sons: 4th of July and some summer fun
http://shaferandlindsey.blogspot.com/2014/11/4th-of-july-and-some-summer-fun.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2014. 4th of July and some summer fun. We showed up just before lunch time and stayed until it was starting to get dark. It was fun to get to chat with everyone. It was blazing hot! At one point it actually got quite cloudy and even sprinkled a little bit. We thought it might cool down, but it only made it humid on top of the heat! The kids especially loved the battle reenactments where they got to play with pretend rifles and pretend to get shot. Big Boy is down! Look out O, this...

My Five Sons: December 2013
http://shaferandlindsey.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 10, 2013. After taking a day off work for my birthday I thought I could talk Shafer into taking another day off for his own birthday, but alas, he went to work. At least he went in a little late after opening a few presents! We love our man! After work he came home and I made him a steak dinner with French fries. We got a fryer for Christmas a few years ago and we've been trying to perfect homemade French fries. And, this time, I think we did it! We sure love him! Posted by Lindsey T.

My Five Sons: This little man turns 3
http://shaferandlindsey.blogspot.com/2014/11/this-little-man-turns-3.html
Tuesday, November 18, 2014. This little man turns 3. This boy is one of a kind! He came with a big personality. He works really hard to get what he wants and he's not afraid of anyone or anything. He's at that stage where everything he says is so cute and mostly it's because of the way he says it. He loves to dress up. During the big boys' soccer season he was constantly putting on their gear. This was my favorite combination:. The boys had fun (mostly) watching each others' games. Posted by Lindsey T.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. On the evening of Puppy's birthday we headed to a park in Sandy with the Taylor clan. Aunt Abby had a big box full of confetti eggs to hide. The kids were thrilled to have an egg hunt and the adults were thrilled that the eggs weren't filled with candy! Here they are ready to go:. This is the newest posing sensation; the yell face:. Here we go again:. Once the eggs were all gathered in the real fun began: crushing them on other people's heads! Posted by Lindsey T. We've been m...

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Our big Taylor reunion was the week of Pioneer day. So, on our way up to the campsite we stopped by the parade float preview since we would miss actually watching the parade. Our Stake had a float this year so we made sure to get a picture with it. #Welbywagon. Up at the camp O decided to be a bit more smiley. This shot of him smiling at Daddy is precious! I think he was happy, I'm sure it's just the sun in his eyes! It was blazing hot up there! Our cute cousin Mallerie work...

Thursday, July 11, 2013. We met up with my family in Kaysville for the parade and festivities there. It's a fun small town parade with tons of candy, which is really all you need, right? Here's my folks with Emily and some kiddos:. The dads keeping the youngin's happy:. The only time the kids actually sat in the chairs, they were usually in the street gathering candy. My Five Sons: September 2013
http://shaferandlindsey.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 20, 2013. Quite often on Sunday evenings we find ourselves driving each other crazy. So, our usual solution this summer was to go on a walk. Shafer and I loved it because it stopped the fighting amongst the boys. But, it didn't always stop the whining! Here's the boys playing Frisbee at one of our favorite parks:. It was such a beautiful evening! Perfect temperature and the sky was gorgeous! It was a pretty scratchy field, but the boys had to explore anyway! I love those boys of mine!
