Bipolar mom shares her insights on everyday life. August 13, 2012. Got up this morning feeling amazing! I went over to my folks’ and shared the good news with them. They could hardly believe it. Was this the same girl who was over there just yesterday with tears in her eyes? No change in lifestyle or medication, so I really don’t know what to attribute it to, but I’m not going to question it, just ride this roller coaster that is now on the upswing. Monday, July 13, 2015. The world is a book and those who do not travel, read only one page. Today, my boys and I started on an epic two week vacation to the northeast United States. I asked my brother, Tim, to join us. Tim and I have always been close and the fact that he became a teacher this year gave us both the luxury to be away for 2 weeks. It started out normal. We got up early. The car was packed to the gills. We were ready to drive 800 miles and only stop for gas. Again, we thought, no worries.
