Finally, Something Visual! — Zweig Model Blog
http://blog.zweigmodel.com/2010/06/07/finally-something-visual
Finally, Something Visual! June 7, 2010. Well, I know I said last September about adding something to visually display data. What can I say, I’m lazy. Now, I FINALLY added a very basic Prime Rate Indicator. Screenshot 1 of Zweig Model Graph. There is a table above the graph that shows the numeric value of each investment, along with the date. It also shows the difference between the two values… the scaling on the graph doesn’t really make the differences as obvious (or glaring) as I’...I need to wor...

About — Zweig Model Blog
http://blog.zweigmodel.com/about
I first read Martin Zweig’s timeless classic. Winning on Wall Street. Back in the early 90′s, and like many readers I was fascinated with the prospect of being able to use the rational application of logic to something as mysterious as investing. Unfortunately, the data required to build the various indicators are difficult to compile and haven’t been updated since early 1993. I hope that you are patient – the models will be up soon! Comment… read it below or add one. November 11, 2011 at 6:27 PM. Kevin ...

Zweig Model – Status Update & Roadmap — Zweig Model Blog
http://blog.zweigmodel.com/2009/09/16/zweig-model-status-update-roadmap
Zweig Model – Status Update and Roadmap. September 16, 2009. Although it may be hard to tell, we’re making some significant progress with the indicators. We’re just about done with making the Prime Rate Indicator configurable (you will get to change the high/low threshold, as well as the Index). Fortunately, it’s starting to look better (from a results/performance perspective – not necessarily a user interface perspective :). 8211; it doesn’t even look like it’s being used in the book) –...Anyway, i...

Launch of Zweig Model Site — Zweig Model Blog
http://blog.zweigmodel.com/2008/10/28/launch-of-zweig-model-site
Launch of Zweig Model Site. October 28, 2008. I’ve just launched a new site, ZweigModel.com. Which will provide an updated examination of Martin Zweig’s Winning on Wall Street. I am planning on blogging throughout the build process, as it might prove interesting as well as provide an opportunity for community participation and direction. Finally, I will allow the user to compare the performance of the PRI against any security or index that has publicly available data. March 21, 2012 at 12:26 PM.

Looking for Value Line Composite Index Data back to 1961. October 2, 2010. Only has data on the Value Line Geometric Average going back to January 11, 1985 – but according to this. Site, the index dates to June 30, 1961. Winning on Wall Street covers May of 1966 through February of 1993. Anyone know how I can get my hands on data prior to 1985? Comments… read them below or add one. October 11, 2010 at 3:04 PM. October 12, 2010 at 7:39 AM. Finance and worry about getting the additional data later. Prime R...

Prime Rate Indicator – Published! — Zweig Model Blog
http://blog.zweigmodel.com/2009/09/07/prime-rate-indicator-published
Prime Rate Indicator – Published! September 7, 2009. Well, it’s been the better part of a year since our last post – but we’ve finally published the Prime Rate Indicator. The initial results are not good… and it looks like the indicator began falling apart shortly after the book was published. Notify me of follow-up comments by email. Notify me of new posts by email.
