January 14th, 2008. Today was my dad's funeral. Tough day. Good ceremony. I read a good piece about death, love and living life to the full. Family is hard to take when they swarm. I don't belong to their world. But my dad did. Still it is good to mark the passing of a great man. Too sad to say much more. January 10th, 2008. Today my dad passed away. A noble warrior and wise leader. He will be missed by many. But it is a welcome release. He was in a coma with no hope of a decent recovery. Now we can stand together to celebrate his life and mark his passing with honor. I have nothing but good and happy memories of my dad. He was the wisest man I knew. I miss his wit and wisdom.
