Futakotamagawa: August 2005
http://aeropostale.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Day eleven - August 17. Ryogoku was a rather silent place and despite some orientation problems after getting off at the JR station Ryogoku it was not too hard to find the Tokyo Edo Museum. It rather looked like a school or a train station from outside but honestly, how should a museum actually look like? After learning about Kabuki and the history of Edo I went to a nearby park where only an Ojiichan was sitting on a bench. Never have I felt a more silent place in Tokyo before. There was a breat...Next ...

Our plane bounding for Taipei, Narita airport (July 30th, 2005). JAL aircraft at its base, Narita airport (July 30th, 2005). O hisashiburi, long time no see! I've been lazy to maintain this site but I had some test stuff to do for the uni, so you might not be surprised I don't upload that much very often lately. This entry is not an ad for EVA Air. Their service is not good enough to be promoted by me) and JAL. Actually, have you noticed any common things in those two pictures above? Travel diary Shiny J...

Futakotamagawa: November 2005
http://aeropostale.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Long awaited. never seen. Maybe some missed my humble blog entries that I haven't written for a while. But I got some good news for Japan lovers. Since I had the privilege to travel that interesting country again I am proud to welcome you to my travel diary retrospective which takes us back to August 7 to 26. It was not a trip as smooth as I supposed but I am sure I have learned and experienced a lot that some surely haven't because of that. Posted by airone at 03:14. Citizen of the Eurasia.

Futakotamagawa: Best coffee in Firenze?
http://aeropostale.blogspot.com/2014/11/best-coffee-in-firenze.html
Best coffee in Firenze? Another cheap and good coffee was at the library near the Duomo that is often frequented by the students there. You get a great photo angle of Duomo from the cafe terrace too. Update, just found this page: http:/ sprudge.com/ditta-artiginale-specialty-coffee-florence-italy.html. Ditta Artiginale seems to be the place to go for good coffee. ;). Posted by airone at 22:22. Futakotamagawa: Unzip files from compressed ZIP archives with Chinese or Japanese file names under non-Chinese / non-Japanese Windows XP
http://aeropostale.blogspot.com/2008/01/unzip-files-from-compressed-zip.html
Unzip files from compressed ZIP archives with Chinese or Japanese file names under non-Chinese / non-Japanese Windows XP. Some might have experienced problems with unzipping ZIP archives that contain file names with double-byte Chinese or Japanese characters. I have not found any sites explaining how to preserve Chinese file names while uncompressing the files on a PC running Windows XP. Here is a solution that I have found out by trial-and-error. Download it from the Microsoft homepage. 5 Creating a link.

Futakotamagawa: May 2005
http://aeropostale.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Magic date 05 05 05. Is it coincidence that many couples marry on 5th May of 2005? Maybe not. But if some brides or grooms think that they just marry because it is this magic number for their special day, I don't suppose their marriage will have a long durability. I'd admit, I just wrote this entry because I wanted an entry for the blog on today's date. Does that mean that this entry is not going to last for long or this entry is just a waste of time to read because it is just written to be written?

Day nine - August 15. Nijubashi, Ginza, Tsukiji, Ebisu to Kaminoge. On another hot summer day I hoped to see the world's largest wholesale fish market but I was too late. At 11:30 am even the market for consumer was closed. It is said that you have to get up at around 5 to see the wholesale market in action where fresh fish is sold every morning like on a battlefield. Maybe some customers thought that I have no place to go than hanging around at the MUJI store. Does Tokyo really have nothing to offer?

Day ten - August 16. Photography Museum Ebisu, Yoyogi Park, Shinjuku, Iidabashi. The air condition in the hotel got broken over night, but because I slept so well I only woke in the morning with soaking wet night clothes while wondering if I had become sick since my body turned so hot and uncomfortable. I have to say that where I live noticeable quakes are very rare. I heard about it so many times (especially in Japan) but it never happened to me before. Surfing at the nearby excite broadband internet st...
