Saturday, August 27, 2011. Hannah and I saw some really cute thick thread bracelets at a store the other day, but they were so expensive. Right beside them were some much cheaper thick rubber bracelets. We bought them and went home to play. The orange bracelet is what we started out with. We did some basic ones to get the hang of it. Then some fun ones. A rainbow one. I tried adding hearts to the side of one. Still need to practice with that. I love it, the girls don't. Submitted to Saturday's Artist.

Thursday, June 30, 2011. We recently froze a *lot* of strawberries. The girls were so excited to see if their horse and pony liked the strawberry tops. They didn't. Cookie literally spat them back out, Dakota wouldn't even put them in her mouth. Ainsley told Cookie she loved her anyway. Monday, March 7, 2011. Homemade Olive Garden Bread sticks. Here is my recipe for bread sticks that I think are pretty close to The Olive Garden's. It's made in a bread machine, so it's super easy. 1 cup water, room temperature. 3 Tbsp. oil. 3 cups bread flour. 1 Tbsp. sugar. Place all ingredients in bread machine in order per manufacturer's instructions (mine is in the order listed). Set for dough cycle. Divide dough into 12 pieces, roll and shape each into an 8 inch rope. Let me know how they turn out!
