GROUP 11: Music Video 2007/8. Friday, 9 November 2007. Roles in the Group. We were all involved in everything, however we had some responsibilties fell more onto some more than others. The director position was taken on by all of us. Rosie encouraged the performers, Hannah made shot desicions, such as the angles, and framing, Cathie visualised the look of the video, and Sarah oversaw the editing. GROUP 11: Music Video 2007/8. Monday, 12 November 2007. We are comparing our video for The Rumble Strips - No Soul with The Little Ones - Lovers Who Uncover. This is similar to our video because it is a relationship video which is integrated with performance. It is similar to ours because it had the same balance between narrative and performance. GROUP 11: Music Video 2007/8. Friday, 9 November 2007. Cathie and Rosie went out and shoot test footage which we edited together and discussed the different types of shots used and which ones we liked and thought looked good. We decided to put an effect on it afterwards. We added a blue filer and we decided that we would put this effect on the final piece. Everyone took turns and shooting. We tried to discuss each shot as group deciding things like framing, movements etc. Kids TV Project Blog.

GROUP 11: Music Video 2007/8. Friday, 9 November 2007. Our video got generally good feedback. The quick shots in the flashback that were cut to the music got the most praise from the rest of our class. Ruths performance was given praise by all, however Aidan was questioned by some because he was thought now to fit the genre of the music. The last shot was also praised because it was said to give the narrative closure. It was commented on that we linked the visuals to the lyrics. Kids TV Project Blog.
