An Electric Vehicle Conversion of a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol and a 1988 Honda Civic Wagon. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. The MiniBMS boards arrived and all of them are installed with a green led on. The boards went on pretty easy, except I had to remount the controller and the heat gauge sender to leave some room for the boards. Notice, the one board could be pushed sideways to make room for a cable, nice. Twenty boards on the trunk pack. Heat gauge sender mounted on a copper tube strap. Surprise, it works!

Here he is standing next to his Solar Bug. It is a 72v EV with a solar panel on the top. With 3-4 amps from the PV panel he should be able to get 10-15 miles per day from the sun! An Electric Vehicle Conversion of a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol and a 1988 Honda Civic Wagon. Monday, April 2, 2012. My neighbor finally finished his EV, but it was worth the wait. The donor is a Subaru Forester and the new guts are an Azure AC motor/controller, custom adapter plate, GBS LifeMnPO4 cells, Elite Power BMS. An Electric Vehicle Conversion of a 1993 Honda Civic del Sol and a 1988 Honda Civic Wagon. Sunday, May 9, 2010. The tests for the buzzer and charger shut off went great. Now the only thing left on this EV is a vacuum pump, which really isn't needed because the disc brakes work really well. Here is the area with the lids on both the BMS and main control box.
