Monday, 27 July 2015. Half marathon wish list. I'm am a medal addict. I don't understand why but I am. Show me a half marathon with a good medal and I'm there in a flash. I've accepted my problem. It might force me to spend more money than I'd like but it motivates me to train year round and is probably cheaper in the long term than healthcare, plus it's an excuse to travel. Friday, 29 May 2015. Where did all this time come from? And a closet clean out. This is the first time in a long while that I've taken a week completely off from working out.that wasn't forced by being incredibly busy with other things or marathon recovery (when you are pretty much dead on your feet anyhow). Sunday, 2 August 2015. A bit tired and sore after my long run so I took a rest day. Tuesday 3 miles 9.52 min/mile. A hot one. Boomer came along with Martina but he felt much more like watching everyone exercise than walking himself. Wednesday 3 miles running (10.10 min/mile), 30 minute swim. Running started out very slow then got faster with each mile. Return of the dizziness. Not as bad and mostly just in the morning. Friday 3.5 miles running (10.12 min/mile) and 1 hour hot yoga. Saturday, 27 June 2015. A pint of ice-cream is not a meal! I'm currently going lighter on the exercise, to have a break and also to let my back heal properly before jumping back into working out. I always find it easier to lose weight when not exercising so much because I'm not hungry all the time. On the other hand not exercising also means I can't eat as much as I'm used to, so time to really watch what I eat! Is it lowish calories? Is it made from real unprocessed foods? Is there enough protein in it?
