An Amalgamation of Minor Adjustments. Monday, May 21, 2012. I think this race was a great learning experience for me. I think when I talked about it with my friends, they thought I was not feeling great about it because I may have seemed negative, but on the contrary, I realized some pretty serious things in the time I took to do this race. So, because I swam a really good line, about every minute or so, someone would try to swim over me, or I ran into a slower swimmer. So I did, and that went very well.

Saturday, 5 September 2009. Withdrawal Symptoms and Project Halves. I had blogged a while back that my target for 2010 was training for and completing an Olympic Distance triathlon (ideally London). BUT the plan has now changed and I've become a bit more ambitious. I have 2 'A' race plans/ambitions for next year . 1 the Malta Half Marathon (February 28, 2010); and. 2 the Antwerp Half Ironman (August 1, 2010). Tuesday, 26 May 2009. Tri-ing to catch a break. Its been a while since I last blogged, and the last you heard I was having a moan about my foot not being in good condition. Well I'm glad to say that cleared up and I was able to train on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That's not to say that the training went particularly well. Friday was a bit of a shock to the system . Stuart and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary yesterday (aww), and RJ is seven months old today (awwww), so we took the time to relax yesterday and take a leisurely stroll around the 'hood with RJ, Joe and Ally (both of whom still clearly miss their brother Nick).
