Thursday, October 14, 2010. It Was Meant To Be. A couple months ago, I realized I had almost 3 weeks of vacation time I had to burn up by the end of the year or I'd lose it. Seems that trip to China I was saving it for is a little further off than I'd estimated. Insert eye roll.). I decided to get away for awhile. My first thought was to spend some time at the ocean. There has been one truly bright spot of 2007 so far (and it wasn't the fact that our Septic Tank backed up into the house, I assure you). Sunday, April 4, 2010. On our way home, our neighbor texted to tell us our grocery store was having their egg hunt in ten minutes. We were right at the turn-off, so we whipped in, found a parking spot and the girls got in line. The place was PACKED! I think the store realized they didn't have enough eggs out, so they started bringing flats of pop and full-size candy bars and just throwing them out.
