Cheddar-Chive Scones: The Recipe / rice and wheat
http://www.riceandwheat.com/2011/06/cheddar-chive-scones-the-recipe
Cheddar-Chive Scones: The Recipe. Thanks to Jean of Lemons and Anchovies. This week, it’s Tres Leches cake. Last week, it was Tibetan momos. A month or so ago was Hainanese chicken rice. When life gets busy, some people like to daydream where they want to go on vacation when they get a break. Me? Wait, don’t answer that. Ignorance is bliss, after all. Thanks to Jean of Lemons and Anchovies. Whatever the case, here is the recipe, after much much delay. These savory, cheesy, slightly crunchy – Yes! Frac12;...
Luna's Recipes: Lamb Biryani
http://lunasrecipes.blogspot.com/2010/11/lamb-biryani.html
Being inspired by the worlds treats. One of the joys and advantages of living in London is the diverse amount of cultures and cuisine that come with them. I’ll never forget the excitement I had as I went to friend’s houses, after school and watch their mothers prepare dishes from such colourful and pungent spices. Indian cuisine, as well as others, has definitely become a prominent part in my culinary influence. 6 garlic cloves, sliced. 8 cm ginger, peeled and grated. 1/2 tsp saffron strands. 6) In a mix...

Baking and Desserts…. Pineapple and Lemon Granita…. February 14, 2012. I have a question for all of you photographers out there (amateur and professional)…. How many photo’s do you have of. Don’t give me that, I’m sure we’d all love to spend some time on the other side. :). Pineapple and Lemon Granita:. 1 cup ...

July 29, 2011. Because this is one of my new favorite recipes. It really is a MUST MAKE before summer’s over. We (and by we I mean Kara) made these a few weeks ago for my Mom to bring to a friend’s house in Lake Geneva. I was anticipating a winner because of the berry-lemon combo and I was right! Now onto how amazing.tasty.yummy these are. First of all the crust alone is good. I love graham crackers, butter and sugar! Seriously to die for. Happy Friday guys! Heres what youll need. http://bowlofmush.blogspot.com/2010/06/cherry-clafoutis.html
Friday, June 25, 2010. I can't believe how much work goes into planning a wedding! Especially when you're having it back home in Scotland and you live in New York City! I thankfully have a fantastic family who are actually the real reason any of it is coming together. Anyway, summer is finally here and I've got cherries on my mind. I love it when all the summer fruits are in season; raspberries, strawberries, mangoes, peaches and cherries are some I've been buying this month. 1/2 cup heavy cream. Whisk t...

On Park Avenue on the Upper East Side. It's lunch only, but I still make more than I've ever made anywhere else waiting tables. And it's pretty easy. Lots of support staff, cool management (see Bobby Miranda, I told you I'd mention you in my blog! But boysenberries are just one of many varieties of blackberry-raspberry hybrids, and a number of their close cousins — including olallieberries, loganberries, and tayberries — grow well and abundantly here. Of the three, my favorite are the tayberries: large-ish berries with a heady, floral aroma that highlights their. Tayberries’ spicy undertones and deep ruby-red color reminded me of the bottle of Peychaud’s bitters in our home bar, and the floral notes...Prepare c...

Two Peas For Me
Sunday, September 18, 2011. My life in cell phone pictures! Let me start by saying that I was never a cell phone enthusiast. Grace's room during the floor install. Loft bed and desk assembled (boy, was that a challenge! Girls are still riding once a week. Still loving every minute of it. I first saw it thi...
