So Katie was going to be Sally, CB's little sister. However, the night before, Evan told me he wanted to be a Fireman, or just go as himself and not wear a costume. We were lucky to attend Maggie and Jude's first communion at St. Mary's in Anderson on Easter Sunday. .the kids did really well during the service. but the meltdown in the car afterward when Katie didn't want to get into her seat was a "not so shining" moment in our day. (See picture of Katie screaming on the floor of the car! Which is her word she uses for candy. Kids. :). Decorating easter eggs this year involved a lot more colored hands than colored eggs!

Friday, November 5, 2010. Disney Baltic and North Sea Cruise! To top off our time in Europe we (along with Dan's parents) headed off for a 12 night Disney cruise. In the Baltic and North Sea in early July. Luckily we had perfect weather, smooth seas, and plenty of stuff to do. In the summer sunrise is at 4 am and the sun stays up until as late as 11pm! Jenna and Jillian turned 9 on Dec 2, 2013 and they chose to have two separate parties this year. Jenna had a gymnastics party and Jillian had a slumber party. I decided to crash the slumber party so I showed up in my footed pjs and pretended I was coming to stay the night. They didn't seem too bothered by it darn it! Jamie hired a face painter then they went Christmas caroling.

We actually thought we'd get to sleep in the tent, but at 11:00, it became VERY clear that Katie, aka demon voice crazy katie, was NOT going to cooperate. But we had a great time nonetheless, and were ever so happy to know that a camping trip 2 hours away from home would've proven nothing but sleepless for the rest of us. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Guy's Ski Vacation in the Alps! For the long holiday weekend, Dan and a few good buds went to Kitzbuhel, Austria - the best ski resort. In the Austrian Alps and considered to be one of the world's great ski areas. We had to be careful towards the end of the day since you could easily find yourself stuck several towns away from Kitzbuhel. The mountain complex. Overall it was a once in a lifetime trip with awesome skiing, amazing food, and great friends. The Stickney Family Blog.
