Project Veggie (a.k.a. Crazy Things I Do For My Kids). Honey-Lime Sweet Potato and Black Bean Tacos. Sweet potatoes. Eh. Never been a huge fan. At Thanksgiving I place that nasty marshmallow covered pan far away from me. But I’m definitely making progress on learning to like them. The trick for me? Cook them savory, not sweet. And cook them in a way that they get a little crispy. A bit of texture goes a long way with me. Baby food sweet potato mush does not appeal. Give me some crunch! Preheat oven to 42...

Yellow Chicken Curry with Chickpeas | 3hungrymonkeys

https://3hungrymonkeys.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/yellow-chicken-curry-with-chickpeas

Project Veggie (a.k.a. Crazy Things I Do For My Kids). Yellow Chicken Curry with Chickpeas. I love curry in just about every incarnation I’ve had the pleasure to experience it. Thai, Indian, spicy, mild, you name it, I will probably eat it. Curry doesn’t have to be spicy or taste any certain way. Curry is not even a spice unto itself. It can be any mixture of spices, sometimes just a few, or up to 20! Since the meat is braised in the sauce, it’s quite tender and comes off the bone easily with a fork.

Stuff and also Things. Skip to primary content. February 11, 2015. As you may have noticed, the new book for Book Club is being announced eleven days late! That was to allow time for a few stragglers to catch up and finish last month’s book. And now that (I think? Monday, March 22, 2010. Hello fellow hungry girls/guys! I am very excited to be telling you about my most recent HG meal! I recently made Mexican Bean and Cheese Dip and it was delicious! It was one of the easiest recipes I have made yet! It does not require a stove or oven, just a microwave! I ate them with baked tostito chips that are really low cal! The combo was delicious! I'm all about the easy stuff :)! So, anyways.it's so quick and easy and is done in literally 5 minutes or something like that!

3 hungry tummies

2 (formerly 3) grown ups sharing a kitchen in inner city Melbourne. Both determined to eat very well for under $10/meal each. A place to share recipes, stories and cooking tips and, of course, to convert "meal in a box" believers and takeout food regulars. Sunday, November 24, 2013. It would have been unthinkable for me to post such a "complex" baking recipe just 3 months ago, but then I was a non-baker and I am now quite a competent one :). Greased and lined 20cm x30cm lamington pan. For the base;.
