SIG...nature Notes: How does my garden grow?
http://signaturenotes.blogspot.com/2011/06/how-does-my-garden-grow.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. How does my garden grow? Remember the old English nursery rhyme. Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary How does your garden grow? With silver bells, and cockle shells ? My garden here at the farm is a flower garden. It flourishs with lots of love, a dash of luck, warm sunshine, and the necessary rain. My favorite flowers are ones that attract butterflies and hummingbirds, so I've filled the landscape with perennials to meet that goal. Had silver bells. I have a. Are having a give-a-way on the...

Pigging Out and About: October 2011

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Kansas City- Johnny's BBQ. Is one of those places in Kansas City I think is a bit underrated- to say the least. When a person asks the question “so where’s the best BBQ in KC? 8221; usually the answers involve the old stand-bys of KC BBQ such as “Gates” or “Arthur Bryant’s”. Johnny’s usually doesn’t come up until further down the list, but that’s really not how it should as far I’m concerned! On my most recent trip, I had a 2 meat sandwich with pork sausage and pulled pork with...

http://butterfliesgourdsandmore.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 8, 2015. Goldfinch sometimes called wild canary is a female or male in winter outfit. Happy New Year so far so good I know it is cold but remember the snow from the last couple of years was no fun. It is dry or sort of the ground is hard and no mud except in certain areas where the cattle keep it stirred up. I have been going out with my 2 little dogs and they enjoy the snow at night is the quietest the wind is calm and it seems warmer. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Wife of a Dairyman.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Sure sign of spring. Farm report: believe we have had some heifers calving about 9 of them we have a few more to go then the cows start. We have been praying for them to hold off until the weather breaks so far so good. Does anyone follow the same eagles to know what they do? Well, our life has been on a little roller coaster ride and it’s been going in circles so fast I haven’t had time to update my blog! After coming up with every reason not to, God kept opening doors, including making our finances work out, selling of our Seward house in 23 days (even doing so for sale by owner, thanks Zillow. We still have boxes to unp...
