Sunday, May 15, 2011. Last weekend Tristan had his first birthday party! It was a Pirate Party and it was a lot of fun. There were balloons (he says "ba-oooons"), two cakes, presents and lots of friends and family. Our dear friends Adam and Kristin came from Lynchburg with the gorgeous pirate-daughter, Violet. Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Our F-U-N in the O-B-X. The week after Labor Day the Hebert's decided to take a trip to the Outer Banks to bid a final farewell to the summer. Although Hurricane Earl threatened to cancel our trip, in the end we were blessed with low humidity, low 80's and low population on the beach thanks Earl! We had a great time and spent the week visiting the sites in the area that we had never explored before Tristan's arrival. He loves trees and flowers! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Born on November 20, 2011, Colston (Cole for short) came into this world a bit more dramtically than his brother did eighteen months prior. Cole came quickly and ten days early but for good reason, he had his umbilical cord wrapped twice around his neck! Although he quickly recovered, he gave his parents a scare! Wednesday, September 21, 2011. A few weekends ago, our dear friend and professional photographer, Kristin Salvia, was kind enough to photograph our family. We had never had any professional shots taken and I had no evidence of being pregnant again either, so it was perfect timing! Although we had a particularly crabby Tristan, she was able to get some wonderful pictures that will be treasured for a long, long time! Saturday, July 24, 2010. Just a quick post with some new items in Violet's nursery! First things first. I had forever been battling with what to do about a glider and ottoman. I knew I wanted something fully upholstered but ideally only wanted to spend $400-500. This ended up proving almost impossible because everything I liked was in the $700-800 range! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Violet at 10 weeks old. Well, I believe we last left off with a 4 week old Violet and the insanity of life with a newborn. Oh, how far we've come! Monday, August 16, 2010. While I am Waiting. Weeks 4-40. Happy Due Date, Violet! It has come and it is almost gone with no more indications of when she will actually arrive! I never thought about how this actual day would feel. it was always just a distant goal in my mind.
