So anyway, seeing the number on the scale slowly creep up (and my waistline slowly expand) I decided it’s time again. I need a goal. So I’m going to run the Athens Half again this year. This time I have a friend training and running with me and the half ends in Sanford Stadium(Go Dawgs! Oops, there’s two excuses in a row right there, huh? I will not let it distract me! He is on medicine for his cholesterol and for the stent that he got. I am thankful to have been able to run the Athens Half Marathon. I actually have gone at 5 three days a week (my later days at work). I prep the boy’s lunches the night before, have my running clothes all laid out and off I go.
