Sunday, May 25, 2008. Yesterday was the scariest day of my parenting life. Lauren drank up to 4 oz of children's Dimatap that I had stupidly left on the counter in the master bathroom. She is fine. With a quick call to Poison control and an even quicker trip to the ER, she was given charcoal to drink and was monitored for 4 hours. The ER Doc released her and said she was fine. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Noah has started a bad habit of playing with his food. Today was no different when we had lunch at Kmart's eatery. Noah was squeezing. His french fries when he excitedly said " Someone put mashed potatoes in my french fries! Peter and I were laughing so hard! Life is a Daily Adventure. Sunday, July 4, 2010. 4th of July Weekend. No fireworks.no family cookouts.no big celebrations. I hadn't seen Jonathon in two weeks so we made this a weekend of nothing. He agreed to see the Twilight movie with me Friday night, we both woke up and did separate workouts on Saturday morning, then we turned this weekend into a movie marathon.just the two of us!
