The 5 W's - Where? Tuesday, February 27, 2007. Is London's OG skatespot. Located beneath the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank has sheltered British skateboarding since the early 70's thanks to it's assortment of banks, stairs, walls and ledges. In actual fact, the Southbank is the common name given to the area of Thames riverside that houses various concert and art buildings, but today the public space is equally known for its skateboarding cultists. Again even if the future of Southbank remains uncertain.

The 5 W's - Where? Monday, March 12, 2007. And you will get the horns. Mark Gonzales (pictured above riding 215 indys) was the first skater to ollie Wallenberg High School's infamous four-stair terrace in San Fransisco over 10 years ago. Since then, not all that many skaters have managed to step up and roll away from the historic chasm. Just for the record books, here is a list of the select few to have claimed a trick down the gap:. Jesse Paez- Frontside 180. Diego Bucchieri- Backside 180.

The 5 W's - Where? Saturday, May 26, 2007. Skateboarding was born in an empty pool. It was the large droughts of the late 60's / early 70's and calm seas which sent kids searching for the waves in the concrete contours of backyard bowls. Every skater should skate an empty pool at least once in his or her lifetime. Pools come in all shapes and sizes. And learning how to carve is already one of the trickiest steps to master. The 5 W's - When? Wednesday, February 21, 2007. June 27th, 1999. At X-Games VI, in San Fransisco, Tony hawk landed the first ever 900. On a skateboard in front of millions. This one event shot Tony through the roof of success and saw skateboarding hit the mainstream hard. Congratulations to the birdman for landing this trick despite Danny Way. Coming oh-so-close almost a decade earlier in an H-Street video, Risk It. Since the 900 has been opened, Sandro Dias. Is still up for grabs though. June 24th, 1995.

The 5 W's - Who? Friday, June 29, 2007. The Shexxx skateboarding's coverboy for the new millenium. Ryan shot into the limelight thanks to his skills as a little squirt. In a sugar-coated weird way, the half-pint size kid grabbed the attention of the masses. In a cleverly orchestrated collaboration with World (a long shot from it's initial concept World industries), Shexxx hit the mainstream and started his road to glory by collecting trophys and medals at all the major Extreme events.
