My flying experiences in microblogs. Pilot Pro and NVGs. Today we had NVG academics. We had a couple hours of power point and video instruction, then we went to the NVG room and learned how to adjust them and focus them. Pretty cool stuff. You really have to get the focusing right or you'll give yourself a headache. You wouldn't believe the way a laser lights up a room when you're wearing NVGs. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My flying experiences in microblogs. Yesterday I really enjoyed flying for the first time in awhile. I flew two routes and got some significant actual flying time on the second one. My flying experiences in microblogs. I completed my last C-130 training sim today. It was an overview of lead procedures flying a SKE route around the local area. There will be refresher sims in the future, but as far as Initial Qual training, I'm done with sims. We belong to the flightline tomorrow. My flying experiences in microblogs. Yesterday I really enjoyed flying for the first time in awhile. I flew two routes and got some significant actual flying time on the second one. I only have two flights left if everything goes as planned. Last week was mostly night flying. I got to fly some more pro on NVGs last Friday, which was fun after I learned how to land again. That was the only flight I got, though, because we broke the other days I was scheduled. Pilot Pro and Day Vis. C-130 at Peterson AFB.
