The Newton Gazette: February 2012
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Monday, February 20, 2012. Will the world be ready for that? I felt like a date with Ben on Saturday might be fun since Rachel had a birthday party at a local cave that Dave was taking her to and Ben desperately needed. Maybe Ben should just be a musician and yo-yo player. You know, stay-at-home stuff. We hosted a soup night on Sunday for a few friends. It was fun and keeping with my goal to entertain more. I went to the temple last Thursday. Haven't been in...A week ag...

David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. February 26th Kurt said:. I just left Real Artways in Hartford. I was hired for my third annual Oscar statue performance to benefit Connecticut Aids Resource Center. It went well and the women who runs the gallery was VERY impressed with me and would like to work with me again. I guess a goal is to take charge of my destiny and if human statuing is gonna be my thing I need to book myself gigs. February 27th Rob wrote:. This is the day we remin...

The Newton Gazette: September 2010
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Thursday, September 23, 2010. We kicked off summer vacation June 3rd with Dave having the week off. He took us up to Mt. Baldy in the FJ Cruiser for our first family off-roading tour. My favorite moment was after I hopped back in the car after helping Dave navigate a very tight passage and Rachel said, "I know something that starts with S, Mom" What's that Rach? S is for SCARY.". Apparently, she doesn't have an adrenaline addiction developed yet. The boys did a great jo...

The Newton Gazette: Weekly Update
http://newtongazette.blogspot.com/2012/02/weekly-update_11.html
David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Saturday, February 11, 2012. Sadly, my plans for getting this done on Saturday failed. Yeah, I was. Actually planning on having it done for Saturday so that I could get. It out on Sunday morning for a change, but pesky life keeps getting in. The way. For the most part, this week was really standard and boring. The biggest change from standard protocol was that the kids didn't. Get their homework done on Wednesday, so we missed D&D night again,. Benefit is taken away.

Uccello Journal: What I thought I knew
http://uccellojournal.blogspot.com/2010/10/what-i-thought-i-knew.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. What I thought I knew. Just a quick post. I know engaging in games of "what if" are rarely, if ever, productive, but I can't help but think that maybe if I had known this ages ago, I would have shown Allison more appreciation for her, what she meant, or means, to me. I have to consider that we both could have been much, much happier, and all of this pain could have been avoided. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What I thought I knew. Rob's branch of the family.

Uccello Journal: May 2010
http://uccellojournal.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 10, 2010. Maybe I'm back. but I doubt it. Apparently someone out there still checks this long-abandoned blog of mine, at least some of the time. I'm still a terminally quiet person, and not likely to actually keep this up, but it can't hurt to try. It's been over a year, so where to start? April - Allison and I went to Georgia to attend "Jordancon", a fan-created convention centered around Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. September - Archer started Kindergarten, and McGuire started 6th grade.

Uccello Journal: Realization that a 13 year relationship was ending
http://uccellojournal.blogspot.com/2010/08/realization-that-13-year-relationship.html
Sunday, August 1, 2010. Realization that a 13 year relationship was ending. This coming Friday we meet with a divorce mediator. I am really happy to finally be moving on with this next phase of my life, but I am still really saddened that it came to this. We have had our share of troubles, we have both brought up divorce more than once in all these years. I honestly wish I knew why we never went through with it before, and I honestly wish I knew why this time it is real. Stop worrying about what people t...

The Newton Gazette: June 2011

David, Kim, Jake, Ben, and Rachel. Saturday, June 18, 2011. Beaches Resort June 4-11, 2011. Oh my How do I do justice to such a great vacation? Let's start with some pictures. The clearest waters and most fish we've ever seen. Rachel is like a fish. She snorkels without fear. Ben gives a thumbs up to Caribbean warm waters. Jake prefers scuba diving, but humors us occasionally by snorkeling. His main job is to keep Mom from drowning. Triple-decker at the pool. Looks like the boys think they won. You know ...
