We are going to be going to another place for a full hearing test, and a speech assesment and someone will be coming to our house to observe her. I'll update when I know more! Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Many times my kids have asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I replied with “a mom.” They always say “what else”? It’s true. The only thing I really wanted to be when I ‘grew up’ was a mom. As I look back I wish I would have prepared for that momentous job a little more. I remember thinking it would be no big deal as I was the second child of 7, did a lot of babysitting in the neighborhood etc. How hard could it be? I also knew that I would be that really cool mom too.
