I would love to hear more about what your experiences would entail or perhaps why mankind isnt designed for seclusion. February 13, 2011 at 3:14 PM. I agree with you quote i think that humans arent supposed to live completely secluded for long periods of time. i do feel like having interactions with other people is definitely an essential part of developing and keeping social life. Saturday, February 19, 2011. February 20, 2011 at 12:11 PM. I agree with your statement about howhard it would be to just jump right back into the newly advanced technology world. Im sure i would find myself flustered at the new technology. February 20, 2011 at 4:06 PM. They have no idea where their food comes from and they have no idea where their trash goes. Friday, February 25, 2011. In our society today i do believe that we have lost our privacy, not only from a person standpoint but our identities. are essentially in the hands of everyone. in a way i believe we have lost our right to privacy but could we blame it on the technology today? Privacy still does exist. in our homes but what would you rather want be safe in you home or have all of you credit card numbers, birth certificates,. SS numbers in the hands of other people? Friday, April 15, 2011. When looking back in this class i think it has given me a new perspective on technology. it has shown me that our world is slowly losing its well rounded cultures and turning into a mind numbing society with the want for nothing but fast and simple pleasures. this class has allowed me to read several novels that i would have never had the opportunity or thought to have taken the time to read. April 17, 2011 at 9:34 AM. I agree about a mind numbing society. April 18, 2011 at 9:58 AM.

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Why do people choose to be like that? What drives a person to become an obsessed gamer? When you look at documentaries like this you might automatically think technology is bad for people (in a nutshell) but should we take into consideration that maybe it is the person. Who is so susceptible to the technology and lets it get the best of them almost controlling. Thursday, January 27, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The End is Near. Blog Ten: Opened Eyes. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Blog Ten: Opened Eyes. I feel like this class was more free and thought provoking, which in many classes that opportunity doesn’t exist. This class allowed us to open our minds to the issues we face as a society. We not only shared our opinions on these topics but we were also exposed to literature that backed these issues up and put them into context. April 17, 2011 at 9:29 AM. April 18, 2011 at 9:57 AM. Sunday, January 30, 2011. After Discussing “Noise” and the impact of the media on today’s society I thought that this passage from Culture Jam would relate well to the subject matter we are discussing. After reading this passage, I thought to myself is the media really brainwashing us? I understand that the media does have a high influence on those in society. But does it really have that big of an impact on us? Although, technology is increasing at abundant rate and I understand how someone would like t...
