There are a few different ways to use and hold chopsticks, but this is just the way I do it:. 1 The bottom stick is going to be held between your thumb and the end joint of your ring finger. This stick will remain stationary. 2 The top stick will be held as if you were using a pencil. This stick will be used to clamp food against the other stick. 3 With your index finger, middle finger, and thumb, move the top stick up and down to clamp food.

Have the best sushi, but their meals come with both miso soup and a salad, instead of having to choose one or the other.
