December 29, 2014. This year marks our second Christmas season in Japan. Can you believe that? We did Brayden's Christmas early because we knew we were flying down to Okinawa for Christmas day. Santa's elves came early to set up his gifts. He also opened presents sent from both sets of grandparents. B is a silly boy. He loves using Skype to see and talk to our family back home. December 28, 2014. Residing in a foreign country changes the general feel of holidays. I love looking at Christmas lights during the holiday season. We took a family drive to see the Sagamiko Illumination one evening. My heart was happy when we finally arrived and saw the lights. It was pure delight. This was a great evening spent together as a family. These moments seem so special. Especially because Aaron is gone for the summer months. We cherish the family moments we get. January 07, 2015. Aaron's parents were visiting us for the weekend prior to Christmas. They planned to spend Christmas in Okinawa with Aaron's sister. Carson, Camille, Kambree, Rylee, and Kate. Monday, July 21, 2014. We had a little get together for my Grandma Dearden's birthday. Kate with my dad. It took her a while to warm up to him. My grandma with her two daughters, my mom and Aunt Lori. Kate turned 18 months in June. This means she started nursery! This is her first Sunday going to nursery. Baby boy number 2. Well it’s been a long 9 months but here we are finally at the hospital. Melanie’s water broke at 4:00am and aunt Windy came over to keep an eye on Matthew while we are here. 8211; 5:00am Arrived at the hospital filled out paperwork and got her into a gown. 8211; 5:25am Got into our room (blue 2 -171) and got her hooked up to all the monitors. 8211; 6:50am Epidural is in contractions coming on strong! 8211; 7:30am Ok that was fast she is now at a 9! 8211; 8:11am HE IS OUT 9lbs 8oz!

Monday, May 27, 2013. This guy is hilarious! We drove home from Salt Lake (almost an hour drive) with him playing peek-a-boo most of the way home. Let me tell you, his laugh is contagious! He fell asleep on the way, so we brought him in to the house, and left him in his car seat for the rest of his nap. Aaron peeked in to check on him, and found him playing peek-a-boo all by himself; lifting up the blanket, bringing it down, and smiling a huge smile to himself! Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
