Weekend # 2 with the cousins. Our second weekend with Annie and family was great, mostly we got to just catch up and the kids got lots of play time! Aaron and I came across the best ever cinnamon roll recipe in the world. And had to try them out, so I got some definite baking time in. Mattie was my little helper… man does she love to cook! Baby boy number 2. Well it’s been a long 9 months but here we are finally at the hospital. Melanie’s water broke at 4:00am and aunt Windy came over to keep an eye on Matthew while we are here. 8211; 5:00am Arrived at the hospital filled out paperwork and got her into a gown. 8211; 5:25am Got into our room (blue 2 -171) and got her hooked up to all the monitors. 8211; 6:50am Epidural is in contractions coming on strong! 8211; 7:30am Ok that was fast she is now at a 9! 8211; 8:11am HE IS OUT 9lbs 8oz!

I think it only fair that our puppies, who are such a big part of our life get a page of their own. First up there is Puppy! Yes, his name is Puppy! He goes by many other names (Yeti, Frog, Jack…the list goes on) but Puppy is his official name. He is our poodle that no one believe is a poodle. We met up with the grandparents for the day and had quite the drive there and back. Normally we can never get Matthew to sleep in the care (especially when there are 6 people in the car) but it was hours after his nap time and he had just finished watching Toy Story (the ultimate soother for him) and we were MINUTES from home… therefore not wanting him to fall asleep! Tanis with his group buiding a structure as tall as they could with a certain amount of blocks. What they finally came up with. Wyatt playing on ASU's campus during Tanis's competition. Tanis's main group that built a rocket.. Headed over to launch. Opening up the rocket to check the astronauts to see if they survived. One of the 2 survived the launch.

January 30, 2015. Holiday on a monday? Perfect reason to spend the day with the family! It also happened to be Brayden's birthday, which made it even more fun. We loaded up our sled, ski pants, boots and warm clothes. Our GPS was set for a sledding area at the base of Mt. Fuji! Clouds were covering part of the summit of Mt. Fuji. Monday, May 27, 2013. This guy is hilarious! We drove home from Salt Lake (almost an hour drive) with him playing peek-a-boo most of the way home. Let me tell you, his laugh is contagious! He fell asleep on the way, so we brought him in to the house, and left him in his car seat for the rest of his nap.
