He's having some tummy trouble but he is starting to gain weight so we are pleased about that. He has a cardiology appointment in a couple of weeks so I expect that we will start to wean him from the diuretics again. I am optimistic that he won't go in the hospital because we will wean super slow this time! Joseph is doing great! He smiles a lot and coos!

Monday, September 28, 2009. He has oxygenated blood flow to his lower extremities now and has a complete fontan! Yay Hopefully we will not be back at the hospital after this except for echos and clinic visits once or twice a year. Thank you for all the prayers, calls, thoughts, and visits! We are so thankful for all of you! We are waiting to see him and hope to in the next few minutes or so. We'll post some pictures of him tomorrow so you can all see how good he looks. Thanks! Tuesday, March 9, 2010. He hasn’t been in since December 15th so we were all shocked that he was still accumulating fluid! Brian did well and did not need another chest tube. He was given IV Lasix and that seemed to do the trick. He was discharged on Thursday so 4 nights wasn’t too terrible. Brian did enjoy seeing all of his favorite nurses. Thursday, October 29, 2009. On the third admission you apparently get the upgraded view. Brian was admitted once again but has a nicer room. We can now view the trucks and construction equipment AND the life flight helicopter landing pad all from our room! Yes, this could provide hours of entertainment. Wednesday Brian went to visit his cardiologist Dr. Wheller. And he was readmitted. He was throwing up and his chest xray. On Tuesday. I am not exactly sure what we are looking for with the cath.
