Brown Eyed Girl: "We got to pray, just to make it today..."
http://lisalhunter.blogspot.com/2009/07/weve-got-to-pray-just-to-make-it-today.html
We got to pray, just to make it today.". Posted by Lisa Hunter. On Saturday, July 18, 2009. Hamma-time. The message in MC Hammer's song is simple, Pray. This topic could be blogged about in a million different ways, but here are my thoughts today on prayer. Whenever this subject comes up in conversation or we're challenged to make this more of a priority, lot's of questions are asked:. Is God really listening? Should I pray only about serious issues? What should I talk to Him about? Hello How are you?

Stuff I'd like to talk about. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Ava has a message for you. Turn up your computer. Incase you can't hear it.she says, "hello everyone, thank you for praying for me.". Thank you to you all. Keep praying. Ava needs it and so do we! She is progressing well with the surgery recovery and even moved her left leg a bit today. I go to bed tonight knowing that God has our little girl right where He needs her and that He is the one we are responsible to trust. It's been a hard day. We co...

Stuff I'd like to talk about. Friday, July 30, 2010. Doctors Visit and almost 20/10. Today was a bit up and down. The stress of the upcoming Doctors visit and Hunter Vision doing 6 surgeries today had me all over the map. I was dreading talking to the oncologist and excited about seeing our vision for a refractive surgery practice come to reality. I read 3 letters out of 5 on the 20/10 line this morning. That was awesome. The continued prayers for our family are as follows:. 4 Pray for Hunter Vision....

Stuff I'd like to talk about. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Noah played tonight. It was really fun. Tonight was a battle of the defeateds. It was 2 teams with records of 0-4 battling to the finish. We won. Our team is likely the first team in history to win only the last game of the season and soak the coach with the gatorade bath. That was hilarious. So we finish 1-4 with a coach that needs a shower. Middle School football taught me that. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. It was a blessing to me that day.

amberWIRE (dot) com: Ruby | 30-months
http://ambercox.blogspot.com/2011/12/ruby-30-months.html
Thursday, December 15, 2011. Ruby is 2 and a half. It's still weird for me to see Clara wearing Ruby's clothes. because I'm pretty sure Ruby was just 8 months old a couple of days ago. Anyway, she is 30 months old, is almost 3 feet tall and is really doing great. I took her to the pediatrician for her 30-month check-up and when Dr. Rogers walked in Ruby looked at her and said, "You have a pretty bow in your hair! Some Rubyisms worth noting:. She loves asking everyone "Hey, what are YOU doing here? She ha...

Monday, January 24, 2011. My face might still be frozen. Ryan gave me an awesome gift for my 30th birthday. A weekend away, just the two of us! My birthday was in September and we FINALLY figured out a time to make a break for it so we dropped Ruby off at Nana and Papa's and drove up to Traverse City on Friday night. My face might still be frozen. It truly was one of the coldest weekends I've ever lived through. We stayed in the Park Place Hotel. Since we were already frozen solid, we decided to do some ...

Monday, October 31, 2011. Late last night after Clara was tucked in her bed, we took Ruby out to the garage to carve pumpkins. She could not have been less interested. Pretty much Ryan and I carved pumpkins while she ran around the garage "cleaning" the floor with a sponge she found in the car wash bucket. a sponge we will never be able to use on the car again. I tried to get her to help me get all the seeds out so we could bake them, she simply replied, "no, I don't want to." then ran away. Or "I'm doin...
