Sunday, April 25, 2010. Izzie had her 15 month checkup with Dr. Barrett this past week and passed with flying colors. She weighed 21 pounds (21st percentile) and was 31 inches long (67th percentile.) She has 10 total teeth (yep, a second molar broke through this past week) now and her ears were all clear! She also has new favorite toy - a play kitchen! Sunday, April 18, 2010. Monday, January 3, 2011. We've been busy catching up with family and friends over the past few weeks and have neglected the blog! Fortunately, we were able to get pictures of most everything. So, here is a brief recap:. We started with the Gorham family Christmas party. Izzie loves babies and was all over holding cousin Jayden! The cousins had their own gift exchange this year. They all loved tearing into the gifts and then had a great time playing with everything. Cousin Kayley read her a bedtime story.

Sunday, July 11, 2010. We've had a very busy couple of weeks around here. Lots of family and friends visiting, which has been great. To start things off, Marijo and Rick were here with Patrick and Diane Koers over the 4th. In addition to them, Rick's son Brandon and his wife Michelle visited with their two little girls, Lauren and Sami, who Izzie loved! They had a great time playing around the lake house and even enjoyed a slip-n-slide! Izzie at swim lessons at the Diamond Lake Yacht Club.

Monday, August 30, 2010. The Sefton family made it down from Lansing for a visit last weekend. We were fortunate to have decent weather so that the kids were able to play outside and enjoy the lake! Monday, February 7, 2011. Izzie went to the salon for her very first haircut this past weekend. We saw Barney live in concert, made it to Chicago to visit Grandma and Grandpa Kennedy and to meet Aunt Jean Kennedy for the first time, attended a few birthday parties, become a professional shopper and even spent an evening on the farm! Sunday, January 23, 2011. Izzie is now two years old! We celebrated with a Dora fiesta! Izzie also graduated to a big girl bed. Well, it wasn't by mommy and daddy's choice. she just refused to sleep in her crib AT ALL, so we had no move her! We have good and bad nights still but are hoping to get back to sleeping all night again soon! Despite the cold, cold temperatures, we've made it out and about for a little play time in the snow! Monday, June 28, 2010. My mom and I decided to join the fun and set up a garage sale with the rest of Diamond Lake. It was a lot of work but was worth it as I made plenty of room in our closets. Now it's time for more shopping, right? Izzie's good friend Caitlyn came by to help with the sale and to play with Izzie. Despite the hot and humid temperatures, they loved playing outside! Sunday, December 12, 2010. We had another busy December weekend! My dad, John and I headed to Ann Arbor to watch the Big Chill in the Big House - MSU v. Michigan hockey in the football stadium. It was cold but worth every minute to experience the atmosphere and be part of a Guinness World Record! Plus, it was great to watch a Michigan team dominate on that football field :).
