Friday, May 15, 2009. This is a picture of a terrarium. My partner and I have built and have taken care of this terrarium that we have made. We have bettles, plants, soil and other things to help us make this environment. We have many plants and our terrarium and they are peas, barley, corn, clover, and radish. It has been really fun planting and seeing these plants grow. The plant that grew the best in my terrarium would be the corn because it was the tallest and was very healthy.

Welcome to my new blog! Feel free to read and reply to my blogs! Wednesday, April 29, 2009. This week in science we were building our terrariums. Some things we did to make our terrarium a terrarium is that we put some plants into the bucket and we also watered the plants so that they wouldn't die. We didn't water the plants too much because then they would die. Then we had to put some saran wrap on top of the terrarium. Because we wanted the water to evaporate. We also had to observe. Spot than we were ...

Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Today we observed our terrariums with the darling beetles and plants. I found out our teacher, Mr. Reed was right by putting saran. Wrap on top of our terrariums to have the water cycle could run with the same water over and over, and just like we started the soil was moist and the sides were wet. Our seeds spouted and the clovers came in first, some unlucky like the barley came in last. the seeds took about the same water and depth in the soil. they were also spread ou...I'm a...

http://allisonwle.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Hi, I'm Allison! Welcome to my new blog! Visitors, please feel free to comment on my posts. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Yesterday, me and my partner, Isabel, observed our terrariums with our five little Darkling beetles. On the sides of our terrarium, all you could see was drops of condensation, this proved that the terrarium would be wet on the inside. As soon as we looked from the top, we saw that the soil looked moist and the color was a dark brown, but not as brown as chocolate brown. First, I went into...

Alexandra's Awesome Blog: My Terrarium
http://alexandrawle.blogspot.com/2009/04/my-terrarium.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2009. In our terrariums we have planted barley, corn, radish, peas, and clover. So far the corn, clover, radish and barley has grown very well. The peas haven't grown very well, they have just sprouted. In our terrariums we have isopods. Before we put the isopods in the terrariums, we made runways and tested what types of things they liked best. Some examples are light vs. dark, warm vs. cold, apple vs. carrot, and wet soil vs. dry soil. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
