Abby's Gastric Sleeve

Thursday, March 27, 2014. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Is it still 2012? Well who knows these days - time just flies. If I could ask for one miracle today it would be for virtuous mind. A virtuous mind with a side of clean, organized house. Maybe a bigger house. And a garden tub! And maybe a car that has real sun visors, not ones fashioned out of brown folders. Or I could chose to be thankful for the mind I have. What if how you think has everything to do with how you eat? Let's talk about this! I'm so grat...

http://www.abbywls.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Tuesday, December 7, 2010. I am under 200! Let's say I'm half way there. My tummy still hurts a good bit. I call my situation surgical anorxia. I am so tired of saltines and baby food. However, being a size 16 rocks (for now)! Starting weight, Aug 1st: 266. 71 lbs lost in just over 4 months! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wasn't expecting that huge splash! 6 months and 80 pounds gone. Believe it or not I still felt pretty. View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget. To Be Fat Like Me.

Abby's Gastric Sleeve: Summer!

http://www.abbywls.blogspot.com/2011/06/summer.html

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. As we dive into summer it is evident that life sure is different than last summer! My weight has been rather stable and I'm ok with that. I've lost 89 lbs so how could I not be thrilled with that! I'm wearing a size 14 dress today and feel girly and cute. I bought a few bathing suits and even feel confident at the pool! My tummy and health have been just dandy. My back still hurts from time to time. Might be the new cute heels I'm wearing. Today they are at the Georgia Aquarium!

Abby's Gastric Sleeve: February 2011

http://www.abbywls.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Hey now, it's February! I went shopping this past week. I thought being out of plus sizes would make shopping easier. It was hard work but I found pants and shirts that fit and that I like. JCPenney and Kohl's had lots to pick from. And the weight loss total is. 80 pounds. My tummy is acting up a bit but I think it is due to stress. Perhaps I will go back to 2 Zegrid's a day for a few days. The really sad news is that my hair is falling out! Enough about me. how are you?

Abby's Gastric Sleeve: January 2011

http://www.abbywls.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. So far 2011 has been a monumental train wreck. My step mom, Debbie died on Jan 3rd. She was only 52 years old. She was my mommy from the time I was 6 until I was 14. I'm so glad I found her 4 years ago. I need prayers on another family situation. Big, fat, beautiful prayers. Weight loss has slowed down. I lost so much so fast with the gastritis. I'm now at 74 lbs gone. Tummy feels good and my energy is a little better. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 6 months and 80 pounds gone.

Abby's Gastric Sleeve: August 2011

http://www.abbywls.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Thursday, August 18, 2011. How can it be a year since my first surgery already? Someone asked me other day if I would do it all again. I don't know how to answer that. Could I do things differently this time? The road I took was long, painful and bumpy but it got me here. I regret missing Billy's first month of kindergarten but I am there more for him every day. I've been more active with him. Is that worth the month I missed? I hope so in the long run! The issue above all issues is my self worth.

Jen's Gastric Bypass Journey: EIGHT months?!?!

http://jjgreenwald.blogspot.com/2011/02/eight-months.html

Jen's Gastric Bypass Journey. I had Roux En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery on May 26, 2010. And I want to share my experiences with you! Saturday, February 05, 2011. I was pulling up my sagging jeans at lunch, and my girlfriend joyfully laughed at me. I hadn't even realized I was needing to pull them up. But they're 16s, so, they were falling down. So I was telling her that I'd lost 106 lbs so far, and I stopped to figure out how long ago my surgery was. EIGHT months? That milk is full of protein! Knowing, esp...

Jen's Gastric Bypass Journey. I had Roux En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery on May 26, 2010. And I want to share my experiences with you! Saturday, December 18, 2010. The Greenwalds weigh 200 lbs less than we used to! I haven't been blogging much, have I? Things are just trucking along with no big changes, really. My weight loss is so much slower and gradual than it was in the beginning months that it feels less exciting. Not less celebrated, just less interesting to share. And I'd tried a lot of them! Jen's Gastric Bypass Journey: "You're so skinny!"

http://jjgreenwald.blogspot.com/2011/04/youre-so-skinny.html

Jen's Gastric Bypass Journey. I had Roux En-Y Gastric Bypass Surgery on May 26, 2010. And I want to share my experiences with you! Thursday, April 14, 2011. I hear this all the time now, which is pretty freaky. Truth is, I hide my excess weight well, and learned a lot watching What Not to Wear! So, at today's weight of 164 ( BMI. Of 291), I definitely need to loose a minimum of 17 lbs more, which would put me safely below 150 and at a BMI. 29 which is, in fact, considered "overweight". Loving on the Edge.

Abby Wombat | In search of the mythical creature

In search of the mythical creature. An Artist’s Impression. Artist’s Impression of Abby Wombat today (courtesy of “X”). An artist, whom we shall only refer to as X, has talked to many of the folks that claim to have seen Abby Wombat. Based on these interviews, he/she has formulated his/her impression of what the mythical hominid-marsupial might look like today. This updated representation is in stark contrast to the now aging depiction. With which we are all achingly familiar. The Myth, The Photo. 8220;,...
