Glenn Family Reunion 2010. We had a family reunion this past weekend at Bull Shoals Lake. We had a BLAST! We left Friday and came home Sunday afternoon. I'm sure hoping we do this reunion thing every year. It was really nice getting together with family that we don't see that often. A brief summary of MCRD. It is hard to believe that my oldest son is a Marine! It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. He left the 18th of October for MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) in San Diego. He called that evening from the USO to let us know he made it safely. We didn't hear from him again until October 28th.his 19th birthday. We received two letters from him that day.mail being our main means of communication for the next 13 weeks! He was well and looking forward to the next few weeks!

Just Another Day in Paradise. Tuesday, December 25, 2007. We are in Texas spending time with Lee's family. My parents usually come along if they aren't in California. So they were with us also. We left Sat @4:45 am and got in about 5 pm that evening. We celebrated Christmas eve that evening since others had plans on Christmas.
