Another month has passed quickly and Wren is becoming all the more active! Happy 8 Months WREN DANIELLE 3 3. Wren learned to crawl that next week after I wrote her 7 month blog update! She is a mover for sure. It took only a few days for her to get the hang of it and now she is in to everything! Oh you don't want me to empty your cupboards and my diaper bag mom? Loving tha...

I have had a busy week so I am finally getting a chance to blog about some very exciting news! This past Tuesday, January 20th, we finalized Wren's adoption! He told us if we were ever in Tampa we could stop by and get a picture with him at the courthouse with Wren! The whole phone conversation lasted about 5 minutes if even! It has been an amazing journey. There wer...

like pearls on a string: Alex + Carmen come again
http://jennadotterer.blogspot.com/2015/07/alex-carmen-come-again.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Alex Carmen come again. The highlight of Alex and Carmen's visit was seeing these two cuties together. Pierce is older by six weeks, so he was a little bit of a bully, but Fee handled him pulling her hair pretty well. It's so sweet to be in this stage with my brother and my friend. I didn't worry when Fee was being whiny or about dragging a baby along- they were right there with me! Both babies are little peanuts for their age; must be the shared 7/8 genetics, eh;)? Gradient Kits ...

Life Unexpected: Our Journey to a Family. Ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Birth Story (Part 3). On Monday morning Jesse and I woke up to the Doctor and nurse coming in to check Wren and do our discharge paperwork! The doctor was so nice and he said my name caught his eye because his late mothers name was Karla with a K which isn't very common! He congratulated us on the adoption and said Wren checked out healthy! About to start the day! Once I...

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Tory, wendy, and boys. Having Tory, Wendy, and co. here was just fun. We played games nearly every night, went whitewater rafting, hung out at the farm, ate out. My nephews loved Oregon: whether it was due to the lack of chores, Riley, or the rafting, I'm not sure. Little Simon asked, "Mom, can we move out here? We drove to Butte Creek Falls with Riley and let the boys have some fun. It's not a very strenuous or long climb, i.e. perfect for them. Then we went over to Eastern Ore...

Thursday, April 30, 2015. Shara, Finn, Wendy. There's nothing quite like sisters. Sisters show up all wearing the same shoes. Even though we were missing one, we had a blast, the three of us. Just for fun: who's the tallest? Maybe a few years of child-rearing will diminish me too.). My sisters made sure Fee was held 24/7. Which made for some rather needy days after they went back home! But so worth it; I loved seeing my sisters hold my little one after years (13 of them! Fiona will be no where. Low-key a...

Monday, October 13, 2014. Apple cider: farm life update no. 4. Is there anything that epitomizes fall better than a good ol' apple cider making? The Sinn's have no lack of apple trees (as they have no lack of anything growable in The Valley) and they have a charming propensity towards self-sustainability. Everyone chips in. Maybe not for the entire process, but at some point or another, they'll all wander by and turn the crank for a bit. This also counts as farm life update no. 4, btw. Life has slowed do...

like pearls on a string: March 2015
http://jennadotterer.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 25, 2015. And oh my, is she sweet. Fiona Kathryn has stolen our hearts shamelessly. I feel unworthy to be her mother, to be the one whose voice can calm her, to be the one she loves to snuggle into. We have been so blessed by her already. She was born March 18 at 4:03 pm. She weighed 6#7oz and was 20.5 inches long. She is healthy and loved beyond words! I have a feeling I know who will be dominating my posts from hereafter:). Monday, March 16, 2015. To have this view every day." As f...
