She did, however, LOVE the "zoo bus"! It was a bright (bright), bright (bright) sunshiny day! Julianne is more into the "stab 'em til they give up" kinda thing. They love ol' Elsa! Getting ready to get her face painted. Here's that beautiful butterfly smile! Abigail chose to be a tiger! Getting some fair food!

I don't know how that happened, since it was just yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital. She was (is) less than excited about the getting up early part, but she really likes school! Her teacher is very sweet and all of her classmates from last year were very excited to be back together again. Here are a few pictures from that first morning!

I have never liked being overweight, but I've never not. Liked it enough to do anything serious about it. I think I got to the point where I just resigned myself to being about this size for the rest of my life. Deep down, I think that I didn't believe that I actually could. I never do stuff like that! I love my cheerleaders!

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Never underestimate what you will see on 6th street. We saw King Kong and a man who was immune to electricity. Way to go Madeline for being his assistant. You are brave! Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Jake found 4 tiny baby bunnies nested in our back yard. He was so gentle with them and brought one to us. The next morning the kids and I took them to the Austin Wildlife rescue so they could bottle feed them. They would have never survived in our backyard with Batman :). Since we were already in Austin, we decided to make a day of it. We went to the LBJ library and then to the science and nature museum. Just like their daddy, the kids were cleaning some teeth! Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Petit Jean Mountain, Arkansas. We took our family vacation this year to Petit Jean Mt, Arkansas. I went as a kid and had great memories so I wanted to take my family. It was a lot of hiking on beautiful trails, swimming, hanging out by beautiful waterfalls, exploring caves and rock climbing. Just my kind of vacation! Our cabin was beautiful. It was big and had a porch swing on the back porch overlooking this beautiful waterfall. Couldn't have been better! Such a big boy.

Friday, January 6, 2012. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. I thought I would experiment with myself yesterday so I ate a "Humphrey Yogart." An amazing, yet very low fat yummy frozen yogurt with bananas, strawberries, pineapple and granola and a drizzle of honey. I stil lost weight!
